Our Team

John got his start in the roofing business while working at ABC Supply Co, the largest distributor of roofing materials in the world, on his summers off from college at the University of San Diego. He developed his knowledge further while working as a project manager for a large Wichita roofing company. At that point, the Wichita native and East High graduate, decided to attend medical school at Creighton University. During his second year at Med school, he decided to choose a different path for himself and moved back to Wichita to start Rhoden Roofing in 2008.

John realized there was a great opportunity in the roofing industry to change the way business was done. By listening to the concerns his customers had and educating them about their project, John and his extremely capable team were able to quickly grow Rhoden Roofing into an award-winning company. He strives everyday to find a way to make the customer experience at Rhoden Roofing the best it can be. He found the best way to accomplish this was simple, listen to the customers needs and follow through every time. No Excuses!!

Ashley started with Rhoden Roofing in 2010, and through the years has worked her way through many roles around the office. She is always focused on ways to improve business processes and customer experience. Her knack for problem solving and attention to detail make her a great resource to guide customers through insurance claims.

Ashley and John were married in 2013 and have three children. Ashley balances her role as a mother and working part-time in the office, overseeing insurance claims, company accounting, business processes, and special projects. She attended both Kapaun Mt Carmel and East High before earning her degree from Wichita State University.

Tricia joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2024; she joins us with twenty years’ experience as an HR professional. She had worked in both the auto industry and in the non-profit sector before joining us at Rhoden Roofing. She is an Advocate for both our brand and our employees here at Rhoden Roofing.

Originally from Southern California, she and her husband relocated to Wichita in early 2024 and are loving the slower pace the Midwest offers. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration, from CSULB. She enjoys being with her family, gardening, and loves baseball.

Brett, a Wichita native, joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2011. Brett attended Kapaun Mt Carmel and was an excellent soccer player. His soccer ability earned him a college scholarship in Kansas City. Brett was integral in developing and managing a local restaurant chain before joining Rhoden Roofing. Brett married his wife, Stefanie, in 2017.

Brett’s ability to problem solve and attention to detail makes him an ideal project manager. He is certified through HAAG as a Residential and Commercial inspector. HAAG engineering sets the industry standard for insurance claims on what is and what is not considered hail & wind damage. This gives him immense authority when dealing with insurance adjustors on any type of building (homes, apartments, & businesses). This authority has lead him to manage jobs all over the state of Kansas and Missouri. He understands the needs and requirements of commercial clients with large portfolios. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent.

Dave was born and raised in Wichita, growing up in the College Hill neighborhood. He graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and then went on to get a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. Starting his career with the Wichita Wings during the early 1980’s, led to an opportunity to work in sport management in Tulsa, where he remained for 30 years raising a son and daughter there, with his wife Becky. He returned to Wichita in 2016 and is glad to be back home.

Dave’s strive for knowledge and continuous perseverance has made Rhoden Roofing extremely proud to have him on our Team. Dave is a HAAG Certified Inspector. Chris is a Wichita native and went to Heights High School.  He attended Kansas State University and Wichita State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Chris then went on to earn his MBA in Leadership from Newman University. Chris and his wife Jacque live in Andover and have four children. Chris loves spending time with wife and kids. They are the joy of his life and always keep things fresh and exciting. Chris loves all things sports! He is a huge Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys NASCAR and NHRA drag racing. Chris enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts in an effort to continue learning and growing.

Patrick is a Wichita native who grew up in East Wichita and attended The Independent School. Patrick has a bachelors and masters degree, both in Exercise Science. He spent 13 years of his career as a personal trainer and gym owner before deciding to pivot his career in 2022 when he joined the Rhoden Roofing team. He brings passion and excellent customer service skills with him on this new endeavor.

In his free time, Patrick and his wife, Kara, are avid adventurers and outdoors people. They enjoy camping, hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Patrick also trains and competes in mixed martial arts.

Originally from Wichita, KS, Zach Shoffner attended East High School before graduating from the University of Kansas. With HAAG Certification for both commercial/low slope and residential roofing, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his field. Zach is passionate about his work and takes pride in delivering quality service to his clients.

As a proud dad of two kids, along with a house cat named Michael and a dog named Stanley, family is a core part of Zach’s life. In his free time, he enjoys playing country music around town and is an active runner. Zach has a deep appreciation for historic buildings, music, reading, and exploring garage sales, often finding joy in the stories behind each item and place. His diverse interests and warm personality help him connect with those around him.

Tia, born and raised a Kansas girl, is a compassionate mother of three, a boy and two girls. Married to her husband, Jason, they bought their first house together, August of 2020 in Benton, KS, where they continue to build and grow together. On her off-time Tia enjoys being with her family and friends, making customized cakes, and working on her landscaping.

Tia has always been a gracious individual who puts others before herself.  Since 2008 Tia has spent all her adult life caring for others as a Nursing Assistant and as Massage Therapist until September 2021 when an injury ended her career as a therapeutic caregiver.  Determined to continue helping people she found a new avenue that would allow her to help individuals and families in the community.  By becoming a Claims Specialist here at Rhoden Roofing in 2022, she works diligently with clients to guide them through questions and concerns and help provide the best solutions for their Insurance Claims needs.

Amanda was born at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Growing up in an Air Force family, she moved frequently, living on farms and ranches in remote areas, surrounded by animals. She settled in Wichita in 2009.

From a young age, Amanda has been captivated by Corgis, and her faithful companion Gypsy Mae accompanies her on most adventures. She loves the outdoors, enjoying camping, hiking, paddle boarding, and relaxing by the pool. Photography is her cherished hobby.

After 13 years in the medical field, including roles in triage, billing, and lab technician positions, Amanda decided to make a significant change due to her autoimmune diseases. Her passion for helping people remains strong, leading her to where she is today.

Haylee was born and raised in West Wichita, went to Maize High School and graduated with her Bachelors in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Wichita State University. Haylee has a very outgoing personality and fits right in here at Rhoden Roofing.

Haylee has a lot of experience coming from the customer service/service industry. She loves spending time outdoors, and camping at the lake with her significant other, Cody, and their three children.  Aside from scheduling all of the jobs and ordering material at Rhoden Roofing, she enjoys spending her down time with her family and friends.

Meet Chuck, an outdoorsy family man and watch enthusiast. Hailing from Wichita, he has a deep love for nature and enjoys exploring the great outdoors through hiking and camping. Chuck’s devotion to his family shines through as he takes pride in watching his children play sports and supporting their endeavors. With a passion for watches, he appreciates the craftsmanship and precision behind each timepiece.

Professionally, Chuck has a strong background in facilities management, having led the Facilities Performance Group at Conco and managed specialty builds at Intrust. His experiences working on commercial roofs in both roles have honed his expertise in this area. With his attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to optimize operations, Chuck is well-suited for the job.
