Our Team John Rhoden – Owner John got his start in the roofing business while working at ABC Supply Co, the largest distributor of roofing materials in the world, on his summers off from college at the University of San Diego. He developed his knowledge further while working as a project manager for a large Wichita roofing company. At that point, the Wichita native and East High graduate, decided to attend medical school at Creighton University. During his second year at Med school, he decided to choose a different path for himself and moved back to Wichita to start Rhoden Roofing in 2008. John realized there was a great opportunity in the roofing industry to change the way business was done. By listening to the concerns his customers had and educating them about their project, John and his extremely capable team were able to quickly grow Rhoden Roofing into an award-winning company. He strives everyday to find a way to make the customer experience at Rhoden Roofing the best it can be. He found the best way to accomplish this was simple, listen to the customers needs and follow through every time. No Excuses!! Ashley Rhoden - Finance Manager She attended both Kapaun Mt Carmel and East high before earning her degree from Wichita State University. She has an extensive background in the service industry and customer service. In 2010, Ashley started off as part-time employee with Rhoden Roofing and throughout the years has worked her way up to managing the entire office. She was able to change the processes of the business to make the customer experience more enjoyable for Rhoden Roofing’s customers. Her knack for problem solving and extreme attention to detail has continued to propel the company in not only customer service, but insurance claims and finances, as well. Ashley and John were married in 2013 and since had two daughters, Monroe Jane (2016) & Jolie Helen (2017). Although her duties as a mother do not allow her to work full time any longer, she still is able to oversee insurance claims and focus on the company finances . Her attention to detail and work ethic are second to none. Erica Nix - Project Coordinator Erica was born and raised in the College Hill neighborhood and graduated from East High. She attended Wichita State University and has an extensive background in the service industry. Her first role with Rhoden Roofing was a part-time marketing position, she then advanced to Office Manager in the summer of 2016, and naturally transitioned into being a Project Coordinator in 2019. Erica is the proud mother to her son, Jett. Her one of a kind, vibrant personality shows through in her passion to help people. Since she has had so many roles in the company, her flexibility around the office, with customers, as well as other Team members exudes professionalism. This experience gives her extensive knowledge in the different facets of the roofing industry. Her positive personality and dependability help shape the atmosphere in our office. These traits are a true asset to Rhoden Roofing. She is certified through HAAG as a Residential Inspector. John Ludwig - Project Coordinator John began his roofing career in the roofing industry working at ABC Supply Co before joining Rhoden Roofing in 2010. The Wichita native attended East High and used his basketball ability to earn a college scholarship. John enjoys being a husband and father to his 3 sons and daughter and coaching his two older sons in basketball and baseball. Because John is the most tenured Project Manager at Rhoden, there is not a situation he cannot address for a customer. He is a HAAG certified Residential Inspector. This gives him great credibility when dealing with insurance adjustors at home inspections. He leads the pack on positive reviews from customers who were initially frustrated with their insurance company. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent. Brett Worrell - Project Coordinator Brett, a Wichita native, joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2011. Brett attended Kapaun Mt Carmel and was an excellent soccer player. His soccer ability earned him a college scholarship in Kansas City. Brett was integral in developing and managing a local restaurant chain before joining Rhoden Roofing. Brett married his wife, Stefanie, in 2017. Brett’s ability to problem solve and attention to detail makes him an ideal project manager. He is certified through HAAG as a Residential and Commercial inspector. This gives him immense authority when dealing with insurance adjustors on any type of building (homes, apartments, & businesses). This authority has lead him to manage jobs all over the state of Kansas and Missouri. He understands the needs and requirements of commercial clients with large portfolios. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent. Keith Ludwig - Project Coordinator Keith earned a degree from Iowa State University in 74’ before moving to Wichita to manage the Andersen Window Corporations wholesale distribution facilities. Keith ultimately decided to open his own lumber business and ran a very successful company for 15 years in Wichita. When Keith is not working, he loves spending time with his 4 grand children and doting upon his wife Becky. Keith brought his vast experience and knowledge in the construction world to Rhoden Roofing in 2011. Keith is known around the office for ensuring his customers are getting properly compensated by their insurance company. For this reason, it is very common he receives hand-written notes from his customers thanking him for his efforts. He is a HAAG certified Residential Inspector. This gives him great standing when dealing with insurance adjustors at home inspections. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent. Drew Murray - Production Manager Drew was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from East High. Before joining Rhoden Roofing in 2012, Drew ran a lawn and landscape company with his brother. This experience gave him an incredible work ethic that taught him the importance of customer service. He enjoys working out and playing golf when he is not at the office. Drew was quickly attracted to the low slope/commercial side of the roofing industry. It is rare to find someone who has the attention to detail that is required when doing meticulous commercial estimating. He is a HAAG certified Commercial Inspector. This gives him great credibility when dealing with insurance adjustors at commercial roof inspections. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. Megan Gilbert- Office Manager Megan, a Des Moines, IA native moved to Wichita in 2002 and has enjoyed becoming a WICHITA native ever since. She lives in Riverside with significant other, Kendall, and their two children, Easton (2011) and Emery (2013). She enjoys riding bikes with her family and spending weekends in Waynoka, OK playing at the sand dunes. Prior to joining Rhoden Roofing she worked in the banking industry for 9 years, which gives her great experience in managing the office, customer service and accounting. Her welcoming personality and generous tone are the first thing you will hear when you call the office. Her role in the company makes her wear many hats, and she handles all of them in stride and a warm smile on her face. When things get hectic and stressful, she is always able to create a positive workplace atmosphere. Her dependability and capacity to get things done are a true asset to the Rhoden Roofing team. Luke Wetta- Chief Operating Officer Luke, a Wichita native, who attended Kapaun Mt Carmel before heading to Milwaukee and graduating from Marquette University. After spending six years working as a Financial Analyst in Milwaukee, he came back to Wichita to be closer to family and the great community he loves. He spent 12 years at CLC Lodging while working his way up to the Vice President of Finance. In the summer of 2020, Luke joined Rhoden Roofing as our COO. Rhoden Roofing’s amazing reputation for quality and customer service drew him to the company with the intention to continue to build upon their long-standing success. His financial background leads him to be detail oriented and focused on processes through all stages of the business. Outside of work, Luke remains active, preferring to be outside, playing sports, and spending time with his wife and two children. Dave Bennett- Project Coordinator Dave was born and raised in Wichita, growing up in the College Hill neighborhood. He graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and then went on to get a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. Starting his career with the Wichita Wings during the early 1980’s, led to an opportunity to work in sport management in Tulsa, where he remained for 30 years raising a son and daughter there, with his wife Becky. He returned to Wichita in 2016 and is glad to be back home. Dave’s strive for knowledge and continuous perseverance has made Rhoden Roofing extremely proud to have him on our Team. Dave has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent Inc. He is glad to be a part of Rhoden Roofing and working in an exciting team environment. Jacob Beckman- Project Coordinator Jacob joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2019. He grew up outside of Wichita near the small town of Andale, Kansas and graduated from Andale High School. He attended Hutchinson Community College where he earned his degree of Automotive Collision Repair. While attending HCC he met his wife, Mariah. They currently live in west Wichita and hope to start a family together in the future. Jacob has very useful knowledge of the insurance field. He worked several years in the collision repair industry before transitioning into insurance adjusting for autos and property. Through property adjusting he was introduced to the roofing industry and became well versed in policy language. This experience gives Jacob great credibility when working with insurance carriers and assisting customers on their claims. He is a HAAG certified Residential Inspector. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent Inc. Meghan West- Claims Manager Meghan West, was born and raised a Kansas girl. Attending college on soccer, track and academic scholarships, Meghan is a formally trained and experienced K-12 teacher. Meghan, her husband Aaron, and their two children, live in a self-built house, in the country, outside of El Dorado. After teaching, Meghan went on to work in the fields of construction, restaurant management and banking. In June of 2020, Meghan joined the Rhoden Roofing Team. Her inherent attention to detail, love of numbers & mechanical aptitude are the 3 forces that have truly made her stand out in the department of supplementing Insurance Claims. She is Xactimate trained and completed courses through XM8 University. Kendall Schultz- Field Production Manager Kendall is a Wichita Native, who grew up in Rockwood and attended Southeast High School. He got an early start in the construction business working as a Railroad Subcontractor, then later moved into management in the Service Industry. In his free time, he likes to go to the dunes and spend time with friends and family. He enjoys traveling and any outdoor activities with his significant other, Megan, and their two children. Kendall has been a life long friend of the family and has grown to be a huge asset to Rhoden Roofing. He joined our team in 2019. Kendall started out as a Runner, but it became apparent with his general knowledge of construction, management, and customer service skills; that he would make a great Field Producation Manager. Kendall is one of the backbones of the company and it is his job to make sure our projects run safely and smoothly. Cole Oglesbee- Field Production Manager Cole is a lifelong Wichita resident. Born and raised in College Hill, Cole graduated from Wichita High School East as a third generation alumni. Cole began his relationship with his wife Lacey right after high school. They were married in 2006 and have since had three amazing children. After high school Cole set out into the construction field. In his twenty years experience, Cole worked in a wide variety of trades. He ran his own small construction company, serving the College Hill community and helping preserve and improve some of the city’s most precious homes and architecture. After ten years as a small business owner, Cole started a new chapter in his life at Rhoden Roofing. He joined the Rhoden Roofing Team in 2019. Cole has thoroughly implemented his broad scope of construction and knack for problem solving into his role as Field Production Manager. He sets the bar when it comes to hard work. Cole prides himself in building relationships with his customers, coworkers, and crew.
