John Rhoden – Owner
John got his start in the roofing business while working at ABC Supply Co, the largest distributor of roofing materials in the world, on his summers off from college at the University of San Diego. He developed his knowledge further while working as a project manager for a large Wichita roofing company. At that point, the Wichita native and East High graduate, decided to attend medical school at Creighton University. During his second year at Med school, he decided to choose a different path for himself and moved back to Wichita to start Rhoden Roofing in 2008.
John realized there was a great opportunity in the roofing industry to change the way business was done. By listening to the concerns his customers had and educating them about their project, John and his extremely capable team were able to quickly grow Rhoden Roofing into an award-winning company. He strives everyday to find a way to make the customer experience at Rhoden Roofing the best it can be. He found the best way to accomplish this was simple, listen to the customers needs and follow through every time. No Excuses!!
Ashley Rhoden - Office Manager
Ashley started off as part-time employee with Rhoden Roofing and worked her way up to managing the entire office. She attended both Kapaun Mt Carmel and East high before earning her degree from Wichita State University. The Wichita native has an extensive background in the service industry. She was able to change the processes of the business to make the customer experience more enjoyable for Rhoden Roofing’s customers.
Ashley and John were married in 2013 and since had two daughters, Monroe Jane (2016) & Jolie Helen (2017). Although her duties as a mother do not allow her to work full time any longer, she still does the book keeping. Her attention to detail and work ethic are second to none.
Erica Nix - Office Manager
Erica was born and raised in the College Hill neighborhood and graduated from East High. She attended Wichita State University and has an extensive background in the service industry. Her first role with Rhoden Roofing was a part-time marketing position and she earned her current position as Office Manager in the summer of 2016. Erica is recently married and just had her first child, Jett.
Her one of a kind, vibrant personality is the first thing you will hear when you call the office. Her role in the company makes her wear many hats, and she handles all of them in stride. When things get hectic and stressful, she is always able to create a positive workplace atmosphere. Her dependability and capacity to get things done are a true asset to the Rhoden Roofing team.
John Ludwig - Project Manager
John began his roofing career in the roofing industry working at ABC Supply Co before joining Rhoden Roofing in 2010. The Wichita native attended East High and used his basketball ability to earn a college scholarship. John enjoys being a husband and father to his 3 sons and daughter and coaching his two older sons in basketball and baseball.
Because John is the most tenured Project Manager at Rhoden, there is not a situation he cannot address for a customer. He is a HAAG certified Residential Inspector. HAAG engineering sets the industry standard for insurance claims on what is and what is not considered hail & wind damage. This gives him great credibility when dealing with insurance adjustors at home inspections. He leads the pack on positive reviews from customers who were initially frustrated with their insurance company. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent.
Brett Worrell - Project Manager
Brett, a Wichita native, joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2011. Brett attended Kapaun Mt Carmel and was an excellent soccer player. His soccer ability earned him a college scholarship in Kansas City. Brett was integral in developing and managing a local restaurant chain before joining Rhoden Roofing. Brett married his wife, Stefanie, in 2017.
Brett’s ability to problem solve and attention to detail makes him an ideal project manager. He is certified through HAAG as a Residential and Commercial inspector. HAAG engineering sets the industry standard for insurance claims on what is and what is not considered hail & wind damage. This gives him immense authority when dealing with insurance adjustors on any type of building (homes, apartments, & businesses). This authority has lead him to manage jobs all over the state of Kansas and Missouri. He understands the needs and requirements of commercial clients with large portfolios. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent.
Keith Ludwig - Project Manager
Keith earned a degree from Iowa State University in 74’ before moving to Wichita to manage the Andersen Window Corporations wholesale distribution facilities. Keith ultimately decided to open his own lumber business and ran a very successful company for 15 years in Wichita. When Keith is not working, he loves spending time with his 4 grand children and doting upon his wife Becky.
Keith brought his vast experience and knowledge in the construction world to Rhoden Roofing in 2011. Keith is known around the office for ensuring his customers are getting properly compensated by their insurance company. For this reason, it is very common he receives hand-written notes from his customers thanking him for his efforts. He is a HAAG certified Residential Inspector. HAAG engineering sets the industry standard for insurance claims on what is and what is not considered hail & wind damage. This gives him great standing when dealing with insurance adjustors at home inspections. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent.
Drew Murray - Commercial Estimator
Drew was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from East High. Before joining Rhoden Roofing in 2012, Drew ran a lawn and landscape company with his brother. This experience gave him an incredible work ethic that taught him the importance of customer service. He enjoys working out and playing golf when he is not at the office.
Drew was quickly attracted to the low slope/commercial side of the roofing industry. It is rare to find someone who has the attention to detail that is required when doing meticulous commercial estimating. He is a HAAG certified Commercial Inspector. HAAG engineering sets the industry standard for insurance claims on what is and what is not considered hail & wind damage. This gives him great credibility when dealing with insurance adjustors at commercial roof inspections. He is certified with Xactimate, the software insurance uses to estimate projects. He has also undergone training to become proficient in attic ventilation from AirVent.
Josh Hazelton - Project Manager
Josh has over 20 years’ experience in the home remodeling business and joined the Rhoden Roofing team in 2017. The Great Bend native, learned about the construction industry very early while working with his father in high school and college. They focused primarily on flooring, cabinets and woodwork in the Hutchinson area. Josh moved to Wichita and found his niche in the flooring industry.
While working in the flooring industry, Josh handled both insurance claims and large commercial clients. This experience made him a perfect match for our team. Josh’s focus will be growing our James Hardie Siding division. Josh believes in no pressure selling. He wants to educate the customer and let them make the best decision possible for them. Josh was married to his wife, Amber, in 2015 and resides here in Wichita.
Nicholas Howell - Commercial Development
Nick was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Maize High School. Nick attended Wichita State University and Wyotech in Laramie, Wyoming. After college, Nick became a production manager at a local body shop for 3 years and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as an outside Sales Representative. These experiences provided him with an extensive background in sales and customer service.
When Nick joined the Rhoden Roofing team, he started out as a Project Manager to gain experience in the Roofing Industry. While working in the Oil & Gas Industry, he learned how preventative maintenance can extend the life of a product. Using that knowledge, he helped launch Rhoden Roofing’s preventative maintenance program for low slope roofs, called RoofCare. He implements infrared thermal photography and drone technology, into the RoofCare program, to take the customer experience to new heights.
